Norm and Grades of Our Cylinder Tubes

Our cylinder tubes are made of the highest quality steel, ensuring a long life and excellent performance. They meet the following norm and grades:

• Cold drawn EN 10305-1 and/or -2 E355+SR honed or skived and rolled burnished H8/H9/H10;
• EN 10297 E355(K2N) / EN 10210 S355J2H / EN 10216-3 P355N (often triple certified);
• Stainless steel 304 / 316L / 316Ti honed or skived and rolled burnished H8/H9/H10/H11;
• Welded cold drawn (D.O.M.) EN 10305-2 E355+C tolerance H9;

 Customization Possibilities

Our hot rolled hydraulic cylinder tubes can be bored and honed to any requested inside diameter, depending on available stock and raw material availability. All tubes are normalized and include impact tests at MINUS temperatures (-20 or -40), making them ready for use in cold environments. Normalized tubes are also suitable for upgrading, for example Lloyd’s Register, GL-DNV, Bureau Veritas, ABS, as we only buy from approved manufacturers.

Certification and Quality Assurance

Our cylinder tubes are supplied with a 3.1 certificate, ensuring that they are delivered according to official rules and technical standards. The certificate includes material quality, material standards, charge- and test numbers, mechanical properties, and chemical composition. This way, you know exactly what to expect from our products.
